Cottonwood Trails

The apparent center of the sky (Polaris) behind the branches of an old cottonwood tree. Startrail exposures are an excellent way to record the colors of the stars. The bright stars of the Big Dipper are seen to the left, the end star of the dipper's bowl is orange compared to all of the other, blue stars in this constellation.
