Ashurst Sky

Arizona brought me to higher elevations, but lower latitudes. Polaris was lower in the sky than I was accustomed to, and in fact, I could not find it reliably when the Big Dipper dropped out of sight below the horizon! But its low position allowed the camera to make this "landscape" view of the sky showing its impressive breadth. Alas, the haze to the north and the faint puffs of wind that night prevented a clear reflection of it.
