The clouds parted momentarily after a week of nighttime rains in the Utah desert. The opening in the natural stone stucture echos the arcs made by the stars as they travel the sky, their course interrupted briefly by lingering clouds, making a staccato pattern in their trails. There is something primal in this form, an essence and efficiency of motion and energy. The stone arch is ancient, the motion of the heavens, eternal. |
